01Bearing ratings & life model
Use catalogue dynamic rating C and static rating C0 for the exact bearing. Basic L10 life corresponds to 90% reliability in the ISO 281 framework. Modified-life factors are explicit user inputs; MD-002 does not derive aISO from lubricant, contamination or fatigue-load-limit data.
02Common catalogue load factors
When a case P or P0 override is zero, MD-002 uses P = X·Fr + Y·Fa and P0 = X0·Fr + Y0·Fa. Defaults represent a radial-only demonstration case, not universal bearing factors.
03Duty cycle
Time shares are normalized. Dynamic mean load is weighted by revolutions. A stationary case (0 rpm) contributes no fatigue revolutions but still participates in the maximum static-load check. Enter P/P0 overrides from the exact catalogue calculation when factor regimes differ between cases; 0 means use the common factors above.
